Police have arrested a 47-year-old man for allegedly shooting at another man Friday near the 24-mile marker of Highway 19 in North Hilo.
The alleged victim reported that Aljune Soria shot at him several times with a rifle after an argument.
Soria was arrested and later charged with first-degree reckless dangering, first-degree terroristic threatening and carrying a loaded firearm after a witness corrobated the alleged victim’s account, police said.
Soria’s bail was set at $9,000 and his initial court appearance was scheduled for Monday.
